Dr. Ruffalo is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine. He received his M.S.W. from the University of Pittsburgh when the chairman of psychiatry at Pitt was serving as Chair of the DSM-5 Task Force. He has received advanced training at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research and the Gunderson Personality Disorders Institute at McLean Hospital (general psychiatric management). His main clinical interests include the psychotherapy of schizophrenia and borderline personality disorder.
